I aspire to help teach people how to make healthy eating realistic, sustainable, and most importantly, enjoyable.
There have been times in my life where I didn’t always put my mental health first, as a result, I relied on food to give me a sense of control. Whether it was meticulously counting calories, under-eating, over-eating, going dairy free, gluten free, vegan, my food choices rarely came from a place of genuine desire. At the time, a positive relationship with food was not something I ever imagined having. Fast forward to the person I am today and I’ve developed a passion for creating recipes that can be both free of rules or restrictions, and provide your body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.
After receiving my Masters of Science in Nutrition from Tufts University, I discovered my love for evidence-based nutrition education and sharing recipes on the internet quickly became the perfect outlet for me to do so. In the process, I soon realized just about anyone can get on the internet and make the health and nutrition space a negative one. It became my mission to do the opposite.
Whether it’s my 20 minute meals, realistic nutrition tips, sharing my own battles with mental health, or helping people navigate the next health and wellness trend – I’ve always strived to show people how to make food a positive part of life, rather than revolving life around food. I will never be the person that tells you what to eat, but I hope I can be the person that inspires you to be confident in your food choices and approach meal time with a newfound sense of ease.
